Terms of use

Scope. These terms govern the use of this website and registration for the Africa Business Forum (8 October 2026, Cologne).
Registration & tickets. Registrations and applications are submitted via the forms on this site. Paid tickets and Matching Circle membership are concluded subject to successful payment via our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable VAT.
Cancellation, refunds & substitution. Cancellations must be sent in writing to e-contact@africabusinessforum.eu and take effect on the day we receive them.
- More than 60 days before the event: full refund.
- 60 to 30 days before the event: 50% of the price is refunded.
- Fewer than 30 days before the event, or non-attendance: no refund.
Instead of cancelling you may name a replacement attendee free of charge at any time up to 48 hours before the event. Matching Circle membership is excluded from refunds once matchmaking has begun (from 30 days before the event), because that service is delivered ahead of the day itself. If we cancel the event you receive a full refund; if we postpone it your ticket remains valid for the new date, or you may request a full refund within 14 days of the announcement. Refunds are issued via Stripe to the original means of payment. Statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal available to consumers, remain unaffected.
Content. Content on this site is provided with care but without warranty as to completeness, accuracy or timeliness.
External links. We are not responsible for the content of external websites we link to; responsibility lies with their respective operators.
Liability. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, except for injury to life, body or health and other mandatory statutory liability.
Governing law & jurisdiction. German law applies. Where permitted, the place of jurisdiction is Cologne (Köln).
Changes. We may update these terms; the current version is always published on this page.

Nutzungsbedingungen

Geltungsbereich. Diese Bedingungen regeln die Nutzung dieser Website und die Anmeldung zum Africa Business Forum (8. Oktober 2026, Köln).
Anmeldung & Tickets. Anmeldungen und Bewerbungen erfolgen über die Formulare auf dieser Website. Kostenpflichtige Tickets und die Matching-Circle-Mitgliedschaft kommen vorbehaltlich erfolgreicher Zahlung über unseren Zahlungsdienstleister Stripe zustande. Preise verstehen sich inklusive der jeweils geltenden Mehrwertsteuer.
Stornierung, Erstattung & Ersatzteilnehmer. Stornierungen sind in Textform an e-contact@africabusinessforum.eu zu richten; maßgeblich ist der Tag des Zugangs bei uns.
- Mehr als 60 Tage vor der Veranstaltung: volle Erstattung.
- 60 bis 30 Tage vor der Veranstaltung: Erstattung von 50 % des Preises.
- Weniger als 30 Tage vor der Veranstaltung oder bei Nichtteilnahme: keine Erstattung.
Statt zu stornieren können Sie jederzeit bis 48 Stunden vor der Veranstaltung kostenfrei einen Ersatzteilnehmer benennen. Die Matching-Circle-Mitgliedschaft ist von der Erstattung ausgenommen, sobald das Matchmaking begonnen hat (ab 30 Tage vor der Veranstaltung), da diese Leistung bereits im Vorfeld erbracht wird. Sagen wir die Veranstaltung ab, erstatten wir den vollen Betrag; verschieben wir sie, behält Ihr Ticket für den neuen Termin seine Gültigkeit oder Sie können innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach der Ankündigung die volle Erstattung verlangen. Erstattungen erfolgen über Stripe auf das ursprüngliche Zahlungsmittel. Gesetzliche Rechte, einschließlich eines etwaigen Verbraucherwiderrufsrechts, bleiben unberührt.
Inhalte. Die Inhalte dieser Website werden mit Sorgfalt erstellt, jedoch ohne Gewähr für Vollständigkeit, Richtigkeit und Aktualität.
